Morris Peltz, Executive Director of the Staunton Augusta YMCA, accepts a "BIG CHECK" from George Hirschmann, the 2007 United Way Campaign Chair.
 
  

 

Sandra Stanwitz, Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Augusta accepts a check from Steve Brown a 25 year Circle of Honor UPS driver from the Fishersville UPS Center for proceeds from this spring's UPS golf tournament to support the 2008 United Way campaign. THANKS UPS!
 
 
Joe Leigh and other members of the NTELOS campaign team are given an award as the "Top Campaign in 2007/08" by George Hirschmann, 2007/08 Campaign Chair, as an Appreciation & Awards Luncheon recently.  The NTELOS campaign produced $74,833.61.  Leigh is also 2008/09 President of the UWGA. 
 		  
 
  Angela Engleman of the Waynesboro East Augusta Salvation Army was honored with the 2007/08 Spirit of Community Award by the United Way of Greater Augusta at a recent awards luncheon.  The award was presented by George Hirschmann of WHSV TV, the United Way 2007/08 Campaign Chair. (See Release)
